<H5> The City Council will meet August 23 at 7:00 pm in the city building, 310 S 2nd, to discuss exceeding the revenue neutral rate and hold the budget hearing on the city’s proposed 2022 budget. This meeting is open to the public. See the proposed budget here. </H5> |
<H5> The Colwich Police Department is currently accepting applications for full-time police officer. KLETC Certification is preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Applications accepted until position is filled. Click here for an application. </H5> |

<H5> Waste Connections services the residential trash and recycle hauling needs of the City of Colwich. Effective June 1, 2021, per the Service Agreement, Waste Connection is allowed a two percent (2%) increase.
Please be sure to have your trash (and/or recycling) out by 6:00 am on Fridays to ensure it will be picked up.

<H5> At the regular December 2020 meeting, the city council voted to remove the fee from dog registrations in the city. Going forward, owners only need to register their dog and provide proof of vaccination one time. The tag issued will be good from then on. Owners are still required to maintain current vaccinations and any other fees or fines (kennel fees, running at large or vicious dog fines, etc.) are still in force. </H5> |

<H5> The city building is open to the public at this time. If you still would prefer not to come in, you may call or email if you need assistance with your utility bill, building permits/inspections, administration questions, etc. You may also call your payments in to 316-796-1025 or put them in the drop box located by the driveway to the building. You also have the ability to pay fees and fines online at colwichks.org. </H5> |
